There is no number on the jersey and it was signed at the farewell at Rexall Place.

The legends of the 50s and 60s like Beliveau, Howe, Hull, Richard etc all took tremendous pride in their signatures. They wanted them to be clear and legible for the fans. Sadly that era is gone and all you get now is something that makes a doctor's prescription order easy to read. Most of today's pro sports athletes include their number in the autograph because without it nobody would have a clue who scrawled out the signature.
