Dumping All Social Media!!!!!!

So I’ve already dropped Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, Ashley Madison, Tinder....you know for like research and sh!t... The only two left are Facebook and Facebook Messenger... I’ve given myself to the end of this month and then it’s bye bye. I’ll be taking a break from here as well not a permanent thing. Just something I sort of need to do.

I left Facebook 14 months ago and never looked back. I use Twitter for news, not for socializing. My dopamine addiction ended with my leaving Facebook. My mental health improved drastically. I didn't realize how sick it was making me...and all of us.

I know people that have dropped social media because they're addicted to it; I know others that have dropped it because it as crap. Personally, I just try to balance it - too much is definitely a bad thing. Sometimes it's good just to step away.

I only go to face book the odd time when a relative nags me.

i actually tried to get on twitter but the day i signed up they sent me a message saying my account was suspended and i would have to give them my phone number to get reactivatd, F that

There’s no NBA thread(!) so here’s a story about a high profile NBA executive who really ought to have stayed off of social media. Bryan Colangelo - name should be familiar - was with Phoenix when Steve Nash was there & more recently with Toronto.

I'm never been on any of those, including Facebook. Too mass market for me. Facebook is where grandmothers go to keep in touch with what their grandchildren are doing.

People should just pick up the phone. Or, even better, talk to each other in, you know, person.

Social media is making all of its users sick with dopamine addiction.
