Re: Vitamin T update...
remembered a few more...
8. Corzo Blanco - not bad, fancy bottle means not worth the $$
9. El Mayor Repo - not bad
10. El Mayor Anejo - not bad
11. 1921 Single Barrel Repo - Very nice
12. Divino (Mezcal) Repos - made from a unique blend of a couple of different Agave plants (Mezcal can be made from more than one type of Agave, but it must be over 80% Agave to be called Mezcal - Tequila has to be over 51% to be called Tequila... in both cases the designation 100% Agave is the true standard.)
13. La Fogata (Mezcal) Anejo - oddest Mezcal I've ever had... extremely smoky to the point that it's colour is even 'greyish brown'; a curiousity, but not a fave
14. Los Abuelos Blanco - one of the very few Tequilas to be made by authentic methods (dating back to the 1800s); tremendous! lots of Agave flavour, nutty and still fresh tasting.
15. 7 Leguas D'Antaņo Extra Anejo - Spectacular; warm, buttery, caramelly, slightly somky. Yum.
16. Fina Estampa Repo - Very nice, something that's not too hard to find, but very enjoyable.
17. MuchoTE Repo - A good generic repo; could work well with some Tequila cocktails while also being sip-able.
18. Querido Viejo Anejo - A nice 'standard' Anejo
19. Para Mi Blanco - this was what we used for Marg's to kick things off.
(still more to come...)
