    OUCH!!! BURN!

    well done!
    *bows*

still don't care for the Green Mile. Was a hell of an event to be at... i didn't mind calling it the green mile that just for reference sake. Beats saying "after the grey cup on Albert st between Vic and Dewdney" every time you talked about it. But this is quite unoriginal and sad really... Mayor Pat Fiacco is just a media hoe who's just using the riders' success to boost his own popularity.

Well both the RedMile and the Copper KM would look far better. I don't even want to think what a Green Mile would look like. i mean a bunch of rider fans and farmers.

Just shows that they still have that inferiority complex when it comes to Alberta.

In a related story, the street in front of Paul McCallum's old house has been renamed the Holstein Highway (aka the Brown Mile).

Yeah Saskatchewan is real bad, considering today that Statistics Canada revealed that Saskatchewan is now the fatest growing province in Canada, not Alberta.

Not revealing an opinion really, just the facts...

So? All that means is that it is starting to get better, and that maybe one day it'll be a decent place to live....but not right now. Saskatchewan is the bottom of the barrel, and when I'm done University, then I'm out of here.

Meh, you'll soon after find out that home isn't so bad after all. Its an inevitable process of maturation.
I told those f***s down at the league office a thousand times that I don't roll on Shabbos!

Ha! What you fail to realize is that I have no plans on maturing any time soon.

If a town with a 100 people gets 5 new residents and a city with 100,000 people gets 4,950 new residents, the first town is "the fastest growing community".

                    but it means jack.

So all the people moving back to Saskatchewan right now disagree with you, is that it? According to you the people moving to Saskatchewan right now think Sask. is the bottom of the barrel, a decent place to live that will eventually get better?

Somehow I don't think people moving their lives to a different province move based on that......

They base it on people moving to the Province, that's what they said on the news today.....CTV News tonight at 1130pm if you don't believe me......

Some people have different values....those who are moving back have a history with Saskatchewan. They have friends and family here, it's where they were raised and therefore built an attachment to Saskatchewan. Or maybe they just like the simple life, or farming life....whatever.

I have no doubt that years of inadequate government have left Saskatchewan with a surplus of untouched oil and minerals, and therefore when they eventually do get to it, then Saskatchewan will be prosperous. Okay, that's fine.....but even if Saskatchewan had a booming economy, I'd still want out. For me, it's not just about making a living, it's about living.

Exactly, that's how you feel, but a lot of other people are seeing prosperity and a good life in Sask., and every single one moving back can't be former residents of Sask.

They got in here when the market was cheap......and they're going back with a big profit and a changing economy.

                              Not surprising really....

No its not surprising.....what's surprising is that you guys think that every single person moving back to Sask. used to live there, and I find that hard to believe......Obviously I am not sitting at the Alberta/ Sask. border taking a survey of people going east, but you know what I mean.....
