So anyone catch the Tiger Cats at Alouettes game last night?
The first quarter and half of the second quarter were not too exciting, since it was mostly two-and-outs and nothing really big happening. It finally started to pick up after the half, with the lead changing between the teams a couple of times.
The block by Hebert on Jones was monumental - I could almost feel Jones' pain watching the game. Jones definitely got laid out hard on that one, but it was certainly an excellent block by Hebert.
I noticed André Proulx was back in uniform on the field. Although I'm not his biggest fan, I'm glad to see he's recovered and hasn't let his heart attack slow him down. With that said, however, I was certainly not pleased they called a completed catch for Montreal near the end of the fourth quarter that allowed them to get their second last field goal. The ball hit the ground before Green had control, so yeah, I was a little disappointed with that. That's the price you pay having human beings officiating, though - there will always be mistakes. Hamilton should have challenged the ruling, but I support it's too late to dwell on things in the past.
It was nice to see Chris Williams tying the CFL record for punt return TDs. You give him an open lane and BAM, he's gone.
