All Stars announced

TORONTO - The Canadian Football League (CFL) announced today the 2012 East and West Division All-Stars. The Division All-Stars were selected by 70 voters, including members of the Football Reporters of Canada (FRC), CFL head coaches, and CFL fans from across the country.

The FRC voting panel consists of representation from each CFL market and a national chapter.

The CFL.ca All-Star Balloting program reopens today for fans to make their selections for the 2012 CFL All-Stars. The final round of voting for fans closes on Sunday, November 11, prior to kickoff (1:00pm ET) of the Eastern Semi-Final in Toronto where the Argonauts host the Edmonton Eskimos at Rogers Centre. The Western Semi-Final kicks off at 4:30pm ET in Cagary where the Stampeders take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The CFL All-Stars will be announced in early December.

The All-Star ballot will reopen later today at www.cflallstars.com.

Alexander!!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!??!?!!?!?!?!?!?!? !?!? Whoa, someone was drinking heavily that day.

Sewell was a good choice, very underrated player. Laurent still gets picked despite missing a lot of time. The guy is a very good player.

Hey Tillman, how come your boys Jyles or Joseph didn't make the list? I thought you are smarter than everyone else and those 2 dead beats are the ideal QB's for the CFL.

The amount of times we've been shafted in these all star votes I have no problem with Alexander. I can imagine the guys on RF will be throwing the challenge flag on his selection though. Congrats to all our choices. Looks like they overcame a lot of distractions and brought some pride back to the Igloo.

We have 6 people on the Western All-Star squad, which is the same as we had last year. Most in a season we've had since 2003, and we're in 4th place in the West?
