I was just wondering how many of you, Esks Faithful, are not going to the game on the 31st? I will be trick or treating with my kids. Stupid CFL scheduler.
Easy answer. I'm going to the game.
Can't your wife take them? Besides, do kids really need a 5lb sack of candy?
Nope as my 10 month old won't stay out as long as my boy.
And yes kids need tons of candy...where do you think the parents get it? You can't tell me you didn't do your best to fill your pillow case full of candy when you were a kid?

Same boat as you Gum......that's one commitment I doubt very much I'll be able to get out of......the kids come first.
Haven't missed a home game for a lot of years...won't start now just because it's Halloween. One advantage of not having kids I guess...although I would like a 5 lb. bag of candy/chocolate bars! I don't expect it to be a sellout crowd by any stretch of the imagination unless it's the one game deciding who' on first and what's on second for the west.
funny you should mention this game... I was skimming the "Eskimo Insider" email, and apparently theres a Wall of Honour ceremony at the 31st game!?!?
The October 31st game is shaping up to be quite an event. The Eskimos will take on the Montreal Alouettes for the last game of the 2008 regular season before they head into playoffs. The last time these two teams met, the Eskimos suffered a crushing defeat of 40-4. They will be looking for redemption as they face Anthony Calvillo and the rest of the Alouettes.
Besides the excitement of the game, there will be plenty going on in the stadium to add to the atmosphere. It is 630 CHED’s Santa’s Anonymous Night, where fans can bring a new toy and drop it off at the donation boxes at all major gates. The halftime show will be a Wall of Honour presentation where the Eskimos will honour their 25th inductee. On top of it all, there will be a contest for fans who dress up. The best costume will win a trip for two to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Second place will win a 19” LCD flat screen TV with third place receiving an Eskimo Fan Pack.
I haven't heard anything about this until now... anyone else know anything? Who's going up?

Then Tom Higgins should hire you as a CFL official right away!!
Hahaha.
As much as I would LOVE to be a CFL official, I'm doing this so I have a better chance of catching on with a police agency in Edmonton or somewhere in Western Canada.
I'll probably be going. Bonus for the kids not being old enough to trick or treat.
Just have to figure out how to make the babies' costumes nice and warm. We already have the best costumes ever planned out for the whole family, but we were expecting to be inside originally.
