    Go **** Yourselves, Esks

    Un.

    ****ING

    Believable.

Absolutely brutal and a total embarrassment.

    Is alcohol fueling this? Yes

I agree. The scoreboard lied. That was one of the saddest performances by an Eskimo offense in the 2nd half that I had ever seen.

We should have lost this game by at least 20. So much for heart.
Out of my mind; back in five minutes.

This is worse than the game against Calgary where we went for the 2 point conversion...got intercepted...and the stumps got the 2 points instead and we lost by 1...

Kamau's wide open drop is just absolutely killing me...

I'm very frustrated by all the open receivers in the second half that Ray didn't throw to. He just wasn't seeing the field tonight.
Hope, at the end of the day connects us all, no matter how different we are

I think it was obvious. Ray wasn't comfortable at all in the Strasser offence. I think it will get better but we have some problems.

I was questioning Ray's arm. But from that last throw, he still has it. He just doesn't have Tucker speed on the field to throw to. Every deep pass is with the db in the receiver's hip pocket. I can't believe I am saying that we need someone like Gaylor out there. Sure he might drop it, but at least he'd be open.

Defence, you get pressure on Burris, he makes bad decisions. You give him time, he embarasses you.

If Daley is the next to go, I would be happy. But we need upgrades at DE, LB and DB. Last in the league says a lot.

            Ricky Ray sucked
            Kamau Peterson sucked
            Arkee Whitlock needs new cleats
The defence cashed in some nice turnovers this eve but still can't stop anything.

This game went pretty well 100% the way I thought it would. Esks play well in a few phases, squander a million chances to put the game away and then lose.

It's very hard to win a game when our quarterback has his head up his a** for the last half of the game. Why didn't Hall pull him? Ray needs to get yanked like he did in 2005 when he plays like that. I'm very very upset right now to the point where I am actually glad that we didn't win this game. To refer back to a previous thread the current Eskimos are pretenders...not contenders.

Why not Jason Maas? RR uncomfortable last 1/2. Secondary is brutal! No offence, D was humiliated with large aerial plays. Last week was on the ground. Big Question On Ritchie hall.

One of the hallmarks of Eskimo football was that no matter who your number one quarterback was, there was always a strong backup and we didn't hesitate to bring him in.

When Warren Moon went cold, Wilkie came in.

When Wilkie went cold, Bruce Lemmerman came in.

When Matt Dunigan ran cold, Damon Allen came in.

When Damon Allen got shut down, Tracy Ham came in.

So given this list of names, why doesn't Jason Maas come in when Ricky Ray goes cold Is Ricky Ray a god compared to Moon, Wilkinson, Dunigan, Allen and Ham???

For some reason, no matter what your opinion of Ray's play is we seem to have lost the will to at least have him sit for a quarter and watch. Yes, he's Ricky Ray but his comfort zone is too big.

I consider Jason Maas the 4th best QB in the CFL. Why he never sees the field is one of the biggest ****ing mysteries the league has seen in the last decade. Does no one remember him coming off the bench in the playoffs in '05 despite throwing only like 5 passes the whole reg season? And kamau, I'm sorry but you should have caught that...disappointing to say the least.

You are thinking old school. Would anyone consider pulling Brady? Manning? Rothlisberger?

Oh no. Can't do that. You start rotating QB's you look like Hamilton or Winnipeg. Or you might hurt somone's feelings.

Sarcasam aside, maybe we should ditch the whiteboard and go back to chalk and slate. Some old school might work.

Your argument about "old school" is probably right.

That's what seems to be missing in Eskimo football today. We are afraid to hurt people's feelings. I guess it goes around with today's politically correct junk that says winning is no big deal.

It's a great point M2S. Ray was struggling. A backup QB isn't just for when the starter gets hurt.

Sit Ray down. Talk it over. Get him back in.

                          Maddening.

                            It's very simple.

Blowing a 14 point lead at home in the 4th Q is unacceptable.

                            Period.

Especially coming off a loss where you were thoroughly embarrassed.

And the fact is, we gotta go back and go to work, to make sure we finish this next time. That's all we gotta do. This right here makes us stronger. Let's understand who we are as a team. Let's understand this right here makes us stronger." - Ray Lewis, January, 2012.
