Prude back - Ittersagen and Daniels out

In what looks like the first of some of those residual moves that Diez talked about, Ronnie Prude has been brought back. Mind that this is just speculation on my part, but for those wondering WTF #33 was doing out on the field last game....well....you know.


(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimos brought back import cornerback Ronnie Prude.

Prude rejoins the green and gold after spending the first half of the 2012 campaign with the Eskimos. He was on the one-game injured list for the first three weeks of the season before moving to the active roster. In five games (one start), he registered 12 defensive tackles, one special teams tackle, one pass knockdown and one interception. He left the August 10 game against Saskatchewan early with an injury and missed games seven - nine and 12-13. He placed was on the reserve list for game 14 prior to being released on October 11.

The Eskimos have released cornerback Peter Ittersagen and defensive lineman Alex Daniels.

I'm not sorry to see Ittersagen go. He clearly was not ready to start at this point in his career. I thought Daniels did a decent job though.

Agreed on Itteersagen, and Daniels. Did Daniels get into any more than that one game (after what a couple days practice?). With Daniels I think Lang just outplayed him. Frankly I think Lang has out performed Williams and might be a better fit on the end opposite Howard.

Thank god Ittersagen is gone. That guy was horrible. He made Christine Hardy look like good player.

Ittersagen made that Calgary receiver look like Fred Stamps.He was so bad most of the time he wasnt even on the TV screen in coverage,and I have a big TV!!
