Re: Kavis "Consequences" Reed: GTFO
I don't think that Kavis Reed can complain that he wasn't given a fair shot. Nobody is attacking him personally.
I'm just really surprised by his regression this year. Every subsequent year is worse and worse.
I don't think that 3-10 is acceptable for the EEFC.
I know people have speculated on it before that Reed might come back next year and I've been thinking that way too.
But, now I've changed my mind and I don't see how you can have him come back with the team missing the playoffs and a possible 4-5 win season.
Kavis isn't dumb. He knows he was coaching for his job. That's why he had that meltdown with the whole "consequences" speech. It just didn't work out.
I wanted Kavis to succeed not for Kavis' sake, but for the sake of the EEFC. This team doesn't need more turnover, but you can't stick with failure and incompetence.
This offseason is going to be crucial and hopefully we can finally break the cycle of never ending turnover in the EEFC coaching ranks by hiring a winner.
