Big game for the Esks and a chance to put some distance between some heavily favored teams in the west.

Jones said in the post-game after Week 2 - and rightly so - that the Esks were fortunate to escape with a win, and that there were a lot of mistakes which had to be corrected.

I guess tonight's result will show whether or not the team actually took steps to correct them. Has Jones followed through and made the adjustments needed? Or is this going to be a case of "Consequences!" all over again?

Gonna be a blast.

Ottawa MUST have better ST play, and less undisciplined penalties. Must bring a LB to hurry Reilly.

We need to see 4 quarters of solid ball from the offense. Winning ugly is better than a loss, but it's time to see offense, D, & teams firing in the same game.

My call is that if the Eskimos improve their kick/punt return game then that will be the difference in this one.

Esks need to keep Reilly clean and give him time if he does he'll torch Ottawa's secondary
On defence they need to stop Walker, make their offence one dimentional and you know Hank will throw some bad ones
Esks win by 10 but the score flatters the RedBlacks who score a garbage time TD.

Contain Walker & pressure Burris. Those are my keys to a V.

If we force Hank into throwing the ball more than he may want, and keep a steady pressure on him, I see more picks in our future. If not that, I still like forcing them into pitch & catch with their inconsistent receiving corp.
