1991 LD rematch

    1991 LD rematch

    First off I have to say...


    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaa when will football start! Good grief, I come here and nobody talks football... granted there's nothing to talk about! But it's all hockey all the time... don't get me wrong... I'd love to see the Oil do well, I'm just get sick and tired of the endless regular season... the first 30 to 40 games are meaningless... so that by the time we get to this point I'm beyond bored! I don't mind watching NHL... but talking about it is wretchedly uninteresting... mainly because it goes on and on and on and on and on and on! every team plays 32 games a week - or so it seems - and every time the same things are said... this way or that. I may just have to go on hiatus for awhile to stop myself from going into a coma! [/rant]

    At any rate... So there I was watching a VHS tape of Where the Buffalo Roam (yes 'Berz, that's WtBR) and knowing that I often taped over stuff I decided to see what else might be on the tape.

    I FFwd-ed and lo and behold it's the 1991 Labour Day rematch. Joined in progress with around a minute to go in the 1st half. I'd love to go into the details of what I saw (giz scored 2 punt return TDs in the first half and Blake Marshall punched 2 in as well in that half) but the tape ended at the end of the 3rd quarter. I'd give a play by play of what I saw... but before I do that, I have to know what the outcome of that game was! Anyone know where to find that info?

    Would Soudog be a source you could check?

            Thanks one and all for suggesting Soudog's site... it was, of course, the first place I checked. Ted's site is an amazing storehouse of info... however info on the rematch is harder to find and not on that site. Likely means I have to go into the basement and unearth some media guides.

              the way I'm getting through the offseason is following the NFL offseason (much more exciting) and by watching NFL Europe, now playing on NFL Network, checking out the new format that they'll be using for next year when they have games on NFL Network. I like it right now, and I'm sure they'll improve it.

                Thanks Numbers, that really helps me find info on the outcome of the Labour Day rematch in '91!
