Making up with the wife? I wonder how much this cost Tiger
Re: Making up with the wife? I wonder how much this cost Tiger
I don't know why he just doesn't embrace being a bachelor and just keep playing golf and tomcatting around. Sure the initial blow back may be a little worse, but when you marriage is nothing more than a ticking time bomb over the long run it'd probably be the less bloody route. The whole charade has already cost him millions, dragging this out is just going to keep it in the tabloids.
Look. We can go round and round about this all the live long day. Let's keep it simple. I embody amazement. Can you dig on that? Good. Then meet me on the corner of rock and roll, and bring a flask of something that burns.
Re: Making up with the wife? I wonder how much this cost Tiger
Exactly. People know who he is so, having a couple of making out with his wife in public isn't going to change the fact he banged like 30 chicks or something retarded number. In reality, does the average person really give a crap what he does in his free time. Probably not. I know I really don't care. If he wants to cheat on his hot wife, hey, that's his choice, his life. He has to deal with it and live with it, not me. What he does in his free time and how he screws up his family doesn't have any affect on my life or my family so I don't worry about it.
If Tiger comes out with a new line of clubs and they are good, does the fact he cheated on his wife really affect sales. Not really, maybe a few people won't buy them but if they are good and going to help your golf game, most people are going to buy them regardless.
If Buick kept sponsoring him and you as a driver like Buick cars, you drive one are you all of a sudden going to put your Buick up for sale and boycott the company. Not likely.
At the end of the day when I buy something, I look for quality and price I don't give a sh!t who the spokes person is. I'm sure most people are the same. Wayne Gretzky, my all time fav player could come to my house and tell me how great Ford is but I'm probably still not going to buy one because I don't like Fords.
Blindly accept whatever they do and if it doesn't work out, I guess there's always next year.

Dear Tiger,
I hope the sex was eye-poppingly great because it sure was expensive. Was it worth it, you moron? If I were Elin I'd divorce your sorry arse and take the kids and as much of your money as I could. You're the best golfer in the world, but you're still an idiot.

She knew what she was signing up for... it's not difficult to know when a guy will hump anything that moves... which is why no one would dare come within 100 yards of Opus while wearing shorts...

Interesting that it was the Riders who moaned and bitched for a salary cap, and since a cap was put in place for them, they only years they've won they broke the salary cap rules.

Not respectfully,

Wow this was unexpected. Can you explain why you are nailing this poor soul to the wall when the majority of sports athletes do EXACTLY what he is doing/has done.......yet for everyone else it's okay???

Much like sectionq, I could care less what Tiger Woods does in his private (or public) life. He didn't need to come out and make an apology to me. I really don't understand why it was such a a big event that the stock markets practically stopped trading while he made his comments. The only people this should be affecting are his family and himself. The fact that he has so little respect for his wife and children really doesn't have an impact on me.
As far as boycotting products that Tiger endorses I can't see myself doing that either. I don't buy any of the products he does endorses and as sectionq said are you really going to be influenced in your buying decisions because some celebrity says they use something.

Don't get me wrong, having Tigers number that includes strippers and porn stars, most guys wouldn't have a problem with. His number is retarded in the context of him being married.

I'm afraid you are confusing me with MoneyGuy.....
I only require about a 50 yard cushion.
Before you insult a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you insult him, you'll be a mile away, and have his shoes.
She is either stupid or has a superhuman ability to forgive.
Or probably more correctly, the number on the check he gave her to stay was bigger than the prenuptial or settlement or whatever arrangement I'm sure they had if she divorced him.

Although I don't agree with what Tiger has done... I can certainly understand how it happened. Woman are relentless and men can be broken down...
I used to lothe men who cheated and always though that if my man cheated, that would be a deal breaker. I have changed that opinion- I friends that have not been faithful and as I said before, I DON'T AGREE WITH IT - but I can see how/why it happens.
Here is an interesting read on a couple who understands the temptations of being a professional athlete and the sanctity of marriage.

I 100% agree. I have a friend who played a little in the NHL for a few years. He was a 3rd & 4th liner. He would tell stories of all the girls that would just throw themselves at them. He would basically have to fight them off at times because they wouldn't take no for an answer. He was just a marginal NHLer, imagine what it is like for a star athlete.
