TEAM 1260: Addition by subtraction - Then more subtraction

It came out on Wednesday that morning show co-host Kyle Chase has been fired by Astral Media and replaced, at least for the time being, by Wil Fraser. Having even one less underqualified, shallow, inarticulate, misogynistic, Rider-loving goof on the air instantly makes the station better as far as I'm concerned. It also means that I can listen to local sports talk radio again for more than 5 minutes at a time.

If it sounds like I'm being overly harsh on the just-fired 'Chaser' (by all reports an okay guy off the air), don't worry. He's had a day job all along and remains heavily involved in junior hockey as well.

Chase was a complete ass when I met him, twice casually. First time at a fun curling bonspiel, the next at my job. Complete douche.

Any speculation as to the reason for his release...can't say I'll miss him either...his knowledge/interest regarding the CFL was non existent IMO.

One down, 1 to go. Frasier is brain dead half the time and clueless the other half. If you put Neilson with some actual knowledgable guys, he could salvage his career.

Chase was gawd awfull. One less Tillman leg humper in the media, however...

I've long stopped listening to the Team 1260LONG AGO! First off, I can't stand the Oilers, so the over abbundunce of Oiler talk turned me off to begin with. Now don't get me wrong this is Edmonton and the Oilers are EVERYTHING when it comes to Edmonton sports. I also found that the majority of Team personalities annoying with a few of them being to the point of pompass and arrogant (Gregor and Chase) and don't get me started it on that broad that was (or still is) Gregors producer (the one that was on the Scores reality show drafted) Meg Morrison! They took the last hour of the Jim Rome show (the only entertaining show on the whole damn station) off and replaced it (at the time) with Oilers lunch (The Team 1260 isn't the Oilers official rights holder anyways) when they could've aired the entire Jim Rome show and started Oilers lunch an hour later (just rename the show Oilers talk or something).
