I wonder if Ottawa goes after someone like Dan LeFevour. He's been in the league for what, two years now? They do need to develop a starter, unless they think DeMarco is the answer there.

I think both Ottawa and the Lions will bid for him. The Lions because I don't think they can go all in with Lulay; Ottawa because I think their new OC (Jason Maas) is going to want serious challengers to unseat Burris from that #1 spot. I think whoever gives him the best opportunity to actually compete for the #1 job gets him.
Hope, at the end of the day connects us all, no matter how different we are
I would prefer they went with someone more experienced so they can be competitiveness, but always gotta root for Maas and he'd be good for developing a young QB.

Maas is one of ours..another reason to cheer for the redblacks ( apart from when they play us )
Wanna see him succeed.... Ottawa will run the same offence as us this year I guess, he spent 3 years under milanovich so u would assume..

Lefevour is a decent shout for ottawa.. I would take a dual threat anyday
Be interesting how much redblacks hitch the wagon to hank this year.. They need to establish identity now
Saskatchewan has extended potential free agent DB Tyron Brackenridge
They'll be spending their pennies carefully this off-season, with not many pennies to go around and a lot of players wanting a piece of the greenwhite pie, er, pop-tart. That'll be one of the more interesting stories of the off-season.

I think Ottawa will have Demarco and Hank battle for the starting job.
BC has virtually no one to start for them if Lulay is hurt, and there are many reports that he will not play again. Lefevour makes a lot of sense in BC. It is a place that he would see great opportunity and BC with their vast need should have a willingness to pay.

I don't know if Demarco is the guy to steal the starters job from Hank, but I believe Lefevour could be. Ottawa cannot afford to go another full season with the offense sputtering. I realize there were a lot of issues last year and it wasn't just at QB, but I expect Ottawa to have better targets to throw to this year. Jason Maas will probably have two years to prove himself as an OC. I don't think he'd want to waste a full year with Hank just because he was deemed the franchise's QB. Maas will probably approach it much like Chris Jones has done - the best players will play. If I was him, I'd make sure he has the best backup QB their SMS allows just in case.
