isn't that how Sask's or even Tillman lead teams QBs have been? One good starter and then nobodies.. if Starter goes down hope one of the nobodies shine.. Nor like having a starter a decent back up and then a prospect....

I agree with you to a point. Do you remember how Maas broke into the league? IIRC Greene went down and Maas came in with 1/2 a game experience and lit 'er up. Then when Maas went down, a little known Ray came in with no experience and promptly took Mass's job. You never know when you have a CFL ready diamond in the rough waiting in the wings for you. IMO Z wasn't that diamond.

Agree. I can see Joseph coming in on short yardage situations and one young QB holding the clipboard and another one on the PR.

IMO he didn't want to sign an extension meant he didn't want to be here and anyone who doesn't want to be here heart and soul can be shown the door as far as I'm concerned. In all recent interviews he hinted at the fact that if he wasn't starting he didn't want to be around (read between the lines). I'm sorry but a guy like that I really don't want to take the time to develope. Hopefully TP can get the oline to replicate their performance from last year and MC makes a commitment to the run so as to keep the heat off of RR and he stays healthy for the year.

Zabranksy was hardly lights out when he came in last year. Great the 1st game, terrible the 2nd one. As I said before Nicholls is going to be good. We do have tons of ? on the roster though that is for sure.

Look at Lulay in BC. He had virtually zero experience last year and now he is their starter.

Who's the Bombers back up? They got rid of Jyles. The team that seems to be in ok shape at QB is the Ticats. Glenn and Porter. Not bad. Though Porter still hasn't proven he can do anything longer than a few series.

Drew Tate has shown that he can play in this league. If i were a stamps fan (excuse me need to rinse my mouth out with soap) I wouldn't be losing any sleep over my backup qb position.
