I'm taking the survey right now. It's a lot more detailed than I remember it being last year. If you get the link to take it you really should. Good questions about times you want the games to be at and other fan experience stuff in the stadium.
Got it as well. I think they asked the same question about Sheetz last time as well. This time I just said that there is nothing more to be said about how bad Sheetz is that hasn't already been said, so I won't bother as it won't change anyways.
Forgot to mention the fire truck and lack of mini footballs, but gave very honest responses to the issues that apply the most to me. Don't be to hard on me for this, but I actually defended Chris Sheetz as I think he is a great man in the community and a good personality in the city, but I blasted the program he is given to work with, as I assume he doesn't have a ton of input into that. Not sure how you all feel about this, but I also suggested the the club have some direct communication here, similar to the way the Stamps communicate with fans over at cflhorsemen.ca. Just my opinion but I would like to see some of that happen here. All in all, I do hope that the responses are heard, and I assume they will as I can't imagine this type of survey is cheap to conduct and assess.

I would certainly hope that people don't have a problem with Sheetz personally, but rather just with the job that is done in that role. I think it's a good point to suggest that it may be the script that he is given to work with or the parameters, and that still gets the point across that it is missing the mark in terms of the results.
I applaud you for making the contention that the team is only trying to use the avenues to communicate to fans that it chooses to (esks.com, twitter, etc) and not all of the ones available to it. I am not going to suggest that this site is MORE effective than the others, as most of those posting here are already motivated to seek out the information, but I do agree that it would be a good source of engagement and constructive discussion IF they got over themselves and came down to talk to the fans respectfully, honestly and constructively - understanding that you take some good with the bad and that the participants here only represent portions of the fan base and not a representation of the whole.
My comments were geared towards improvements in merchandising - sizing availability in particular, access and fan experience around training camps (and to a lesser degree, practices), accessing the fan base for web-content that is crafted and created by those that have both knowledge and passion for the EEFC - something distinctly lacking in their current structure, and encouraging them to continue to try and find the balance between honouring the tradition(s) and being relevant and accessible to new fans.

Sheetz could be a fantastic guy for all I know but he couldn't fire up a crowd with a flamethrower.
I will not, for a moment longer, support an organization who chooses to cowardly kneel where they once fiercely & proudly stood

That sums it up perfectly and I just restated it (in different words) on the survey.
Besides gameday stuff others have mentioned, I once again pointed out that the Eskimos easily have the worst radio broadcasts in the CFL. Like Scheetz, Scott & Campbell may be good guys but their game calls remain an embarrassingly disorganized mess much like they were during the last few decades of old "Guess who??!!". If you haven't done your survey yet please mention that the Esks' longtime relationship with CORUS (Scheetz's employer too) is really dragging them down.
