Hope, at the end of the day connects us all, no matter how different we are

Oooohhhh...and Aaron Rodgers wears the NFL version of green and gold!

        IT MUST BE A SIGN!
Keep an open mind, and you never know who might walk in...

I wish it were. Don't know if a GM from USC would hire a coach from Cal. though. Gotta say though Tedford is the best thing I've heard on here for a long time. He likely was well into the six figures as HC at Cal and he would likely have more security at another college gig. But, I dare to dream.

Try 1.5 mil at Cal, but as far as I know he has nothing else on his table.
Before you insult a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you insult him, you'll be a mile away, and have his shoes.

He got a payout of 6.9 million from Cal. when released from his contract. His release really pi$$ed off Aaron Rodgers btw. Still, best thing on here for a long time, imho. He sure has a good resume and I like that he has had no association with the EE before. A clean broom, so to speak.

Yep. Just because you were a good heart-and-soul player in your time here is not a guarantee that you'll be a good coach...

Well while we're throwing out names how about Turner Gill? I know he was awful at Kansas but coaching at Kansas is not an easy place to win he had a good season coaching Buffalo and then at Div2 Liberty

Interesting. I don't know much about him. Believe he played for Mtl. At least he is somewhat familiar with our game. I'm starting to think anyone but not recycled.

He did play for Mtl very athletic and talented but sadly very concussion prone, I don't want recycled crap either but I want someone with some HC experience and knowledge of the CFL game

I have pointed that out many, many times, but some Kavis (ptooey) Reed lovers are sick of me doing so. He was first and foremost the candidate that Tillman thought he could most easily manipulate. That was criteria numero uno in his mind.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa...as much as I dislike Kavis' coaching methods, the 'ptooey' title ought to be reserved strictly for he who shall not be named. Kavis might make us cringe as a coach, but as a person, he is 1,000 times the man that ET can ever hope to be. Kavis spends his spare time supporting sick children. ET spent his spare time doing sick things to a child. Let's get some perspective.

Tillman (ptooey) went out and hired a guy who was a rookie HC, a who made no effort to hide the fact that coaching in Edmonton was his dream job. From Tillmans (ptooey) perspective, when you give a guy the opportunity to realize his dream, you probably don't expect much resistance from him as long as you continue to remind him that you can just as easily take it away.

Just because Reed was taken advantage of in that sense doesn't mean he's a pushover.
