GDT - Esks @ Bombers - who gets the longest view of the Greenwhites in the cellar
Re: GDT - Esks @ Bombers - who gets the longest view of the Greenwhites in the cellar
IMO, this game will be won be whoever makes the least mistakes. Winnipeg has shown in the last two weeks that it's possible to get ahead on them, but they're more than capable of coming back. The Esks will have to do their best to play smart, get points early, and then keep the pressure on. We cannot afford to allow Winnipeg any kind chance at a comeback; they'll take that chance if they get it.
Keep an open mind, and you never know who might walk in...

The key in my eyes is to play with a lead early and put pressure on their offence to abandon the run game as the game goes on. Plays into our hands that way
I will not, for a moment longer, support an organization who chooses to cowardly kneel where they once fiercely & proudly stood

Well, I did bet on us, but it should be fascinating to watch.
Both teams deserve their records.
Both teams can CLEARLY be better (penalties for both, turnovers particularily for us).
Montreal showed that you can take away our run game with constant pressure but our coaches have shown good adjustments, and Howard HAS to be better with a game in hand, right?
I'm very interested to see who returns for us, I'd like it to be Cotton all game.
Our back-end was suffering some with the position switches, hopefully settled, but Reilly is decisive so if it's not...
Crowd noise will tip the scale, thus allowing me to claim the victory as my own personal accomplishment!

Biggest test of the season so far. (Of course this is only a prelude to an even bigger test next week, but baby steps...)
First, the unstoppable force (38 point per game average) meets the immovable object (18 points per game allowed)...can our D continue to step up?
Second, our D has carried us for the first 3 games, allowing the O to get by playing only intermittently. Will the first half O from last week make an ugly return, or will the second half O show up for the full game? If we only play consistent ball for a single half this week, we could be out of the game already by the time they get on track.
This is both a very winnable game and a very losable game, and I think it is going to come down to which O can put up points early.

John White will be the key to our offense today in my opinion. If he gets opportunities and succeeds, that opens things up for everyone else.
Hoping it's the game (so far) of the season. Both teams want this - I'm sure the competitive spirit between the two head coaches will be there tonight considering their recent connection! Wondering if Chris Jones wants to try some "special" special teams stuff against O'Shea's squad?
Go Esks Go!
Hope, at the end of the day connects us all, no matter how different we are

Being from Manitoba and an Eskimo fan, I'm excited. I'm hoping that a good defense will beat down a good offense and the Eskies will run away 4th quarter. If not, the Bombers win and I'm going to be buying some beer for the locals ...Go Esks !!!

I love the fact that we dont play you guys till the last half of the season. Itll make the greenwhites crushing the Esks dreams that much more enjoyable based on all the trash talk thats ensued so far. I hope both of teams beat the living hell out of each other tonight. Would love to see Reilly and Willy take some big big hits. Not looking for injuries, but just a solid physical toll all around.

What trash talk? Your sanctimonious brethren have been the ones shoveling crap everywhere. How about your team worry about finding it's way out of the basement and leave first place to us.....
