Tickets on sale for Eskimos first Reg. Season home game in Ft. McMurray

Hey, usually single game tickets for CFL games go on sale end of May or beginning of June. Because ticketmaster isn't handling the Esks reg. season kickoff the tickets are up for sale now.

Here's a good pic of the stadium. I went northside and row 11. Look how close you are to the field!

      How big is the stadium?
Blindly accept whatever they do and if it doesn't work out, I guess there's always next year.

Very interesting... Anyone going? Do you have a line on accommodations? Want to carpool?

Proximity of stands to the field...otherwise, not much.

Hope, at the end of the day connects us all, no matter how different we are

Yup, it does. Looks like the benches are going to be very close to that first row. Any seats in the permanent sections behind the benches are going to be a lot of fun.

Looks like a nice little park. Between the CFL and FCE games it'll get some use this year, I hope they put it to good use for the locals.
Look. We can go round and round about this all the live long day. Let's keep it simple. I embody amazement. Can you dig on that? Good. Then meet me on the corner of rock and roll, and bring a flask of something that burns.

That's what the schedule says, but with probably 90% of the crowd cheering for us, it's almost a home game

So, the ENTIRE CROWD will be only 5K?

That will have to be the smallest crowd for a regular-season CFL game in many decades (at least in Canada).

                        Cheers, Glen
Out of my mind; back in five minutes.

The temp seating (all the "double letter" sections) is supposed to push capacity up to 20,000 for each of the games played.

Sorry, one tweak to that field... much better!

Hugo has already discussed the temp seating... as per the contention, I'm not so sure. Announced sure, but as per actual attendance, I'd be willing to bet there were a few games back when the Als were in the Big Owe fill time that they had crowds smaller than that. I wouldn't rule it out anyway, I mean, I've been to an Esks regular season game where the actual crowd was in the quad digits.

It's not an Eskimos home game, it's an Argos home game
