    GDT—Esks v Lions

This has all the makings of a trap game. Lions are eliminated from playoff contention as of last night & seemingly have nothing to play for except PRIDE!
Eskimos running game, excellent the past 2 games with Gable, will now have to make do with Perkins which hardly excites me. And his pass pro hasn’t exactly been stellar either.
Another chance for Bowman to redeem himself in what will be perfect weather conditions in the dome. Looking forward to a big game from Hazelton.
A win goes a long way to finishing third in the West, while a loss likely means a showdown with Saskatchewan on November 4 to see who crosses over to the East....

Even though we’re on a two game win streak, it still doesn’t feel like the struggles from the losing streak are totally behind us. I’d love to see them come out and play a clean, tight, and focused game from beginning to end. Last week they still looked disjointed to me, I want to see them turn the corner tonight.

A win tonight would make next weeks game against Calgary virtually meaningless as it would put us at 10 wins and Sask will likely enter the final week also at 10 wins with an easy game against the Als next week. Even if we beat Calgary to move to 11 wins, a Rider win in the final week would put us both at 11, with the Riders having the tiebreaker.

So win tonight will mean winner of the final season game stays West, loser goes East, unless the Riders choke against the Als.

Feel a little uneasy that we are still making so many changes to our lineup this late in the year but hopefully they can have a strong showing. A bit of worry about Kelly moving to LT but hopefully we use the running game the way we have recently. Takes a lot of pressure of MR.

Defensively, it's the best look yet I've seen from the secondary and it's nice to get the ratio breaker in Colquhoun back. Expect a big game from Willis and our defensive line could have a field day with what can be a porous Oline for the Lions.

I don't know....Hunt really hasn't caught my eye much when he has been in there. Not a single stat to his name through 5 games though I know he has been in on some hurries.

Somehow Bowman who's been useless gets to keep on playing while Mitchell whos looked decent ( at least fights) sits... and not happy Adams is in again...

AB4 with a 22 yard catch on the first play to prove us all wrong

                            Good punt by Hugh.

...and a nice sack by Sewell.
