Wanted to also give O'Donnell some love. Appears to be a really athletic olineman. Has gotten to the second level a few times this season helping to spring Rankin for a couple of big runs,

That's one of the things this Oline is pretty good at, many of them have enough speed to get downfield. All the more reason that they should be designing more plays to take advantage of that.

Even coming into the season when Ford was slated as the starter, my view was always that I'd rather they both get shots as both guys bring something different to the game in terms strenghs and weaknesses, but they aren't as different stylistically as Ford and MBT were to warrant completely different playbooks depending on which guy is behind centre. I thought we had a good tandem, but the coaches seem to be locked into the theory where one guy has to be the guy all the time.

I think they’re locked in because Cody has emerged as the undisputed leader of this team so I get not playing Ford in that sense. But at the same time I’d love to see him come in for a series at times as a change of pace.

Seems like us fans put more stock into the ‘change of pace’ idea than coaches do tho.
