never easy to be a qb in the cfl is it lol
The other fact of the matter is this: Outside of Rankin, how many game changing players do we have on the offensive side of the ball? I can think of one, maybe two....one is on the bench behind Fajardo, and they refuse to use him in situations to alter opposition defensive game plans, while the other only gets used to spell off Rankin (instead of using his speed in a receiving capacity or twin back sets to get him outside). Before you insult a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you insult him, you'll be a mile away, and have his shoes.

All he did was "dink and dunk" to Calvin McCarty all year. But it was out of necessity. He had no other playmakers and, as a result, the play calling was heavy on short, high percentage passes. I love Ed Hervey, but he needs to eat some crow and admit that there are superstars in this league, and a lot of them are receivers. He needs to sign a Number 1 receiver for this team to get over the hump. Before you insult a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you insult him, you'll be a mile away, and have his shoes.

Agreed. And I don’t understand why it has to be Fajardo OR Ford. I’m a fan of both guys because where this franchise is right now we NEED both guys.
Its a no-brainer. It isnt about QB controversy, or one or the other.....its use them both!!!Before you insult a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you insult him, you'll be a mile away, and have his shoes.

As far as the game goes, I'm happy with how well our Defence has came around after a historically bad start to the year and we are doing it without Ceresna, Morgan, Anderson, Metchie, Bynam, and Robbie Smith, who were all day 1 starters. I rewatched the game yesterday and it was clear to see the chemistry they have built as there was a few times where the Riders called audibles after we showed blitz, only to have us change our call and drop out. Offensively we are never going to run away with a game, Cody always says that their focus is to end each drive with a kick, which shows their commitment to protecting the ball but sometimes you have to throw up a 50/50 ball and trust that your guy is going to make the play.
Whatever happens for the rest of the year, I feel like we have a lot to look forward to heading into 2026.

Harris is the new Kevin Glenn. Good enough to put up numbers and win games early in the season but he’ll never be a championship QB IMO.

Wanted to also give O'Donnell some love. Appears to be a really athletic olineman. Has gotten to the second level a few times this season helping to spring Rankin for a couple of big runs,“RUN THE DANG BALL!" -Leigh Anne Tuohy character from the film The Blind Side
"Next time, take a case of Pil into the huddle. If you don't get a beer, get the hell off the field!" -New special teams coach for the Riders
"When the Eskimos are out on defense it looks like there are two or three number 47s out there." -Duane Ford
